And then there were three

I haven't posted in a year and a half, so I thought I would mention a significant event in my life. Unfortunately it is sad news. My brother passed away November 27, 2009 from post-polio syndrome, congestive heart failure, and other contributing aliments. He was 61 years old. There were four of us siblings, three sisters and one brother. And now there are just three sisters.

I am thankful he passed peacefully. May God bless him and keep him.

I am a 50+ year old wife, mother of two teenage girls and a 30 year old stepson who I love as my own. I am retired, due to a disability, from a career as a paralegal. My parents were British as are two of my siblings; another sister and I were born in America. However, I think of myself as British first, American second. My husband is British, too and so Independence Day is not a popular holiday in our home.
